Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for the precious child who will soon be born into our family. May your good and perfect will for our child’s life be completely fulfilled. Help us (as parents/guardians) to be mutually supportive and fully cooperative. Help us to follow wise counsel at every stage of our child’s development – prenatal, birth and then through to adulthood. Help us to become wise parents, relying completely on Your Word and wisdom. We pray that all of the necessary resources for our child and family will be available – healthcare, food/nutrition, housing/shelter, finances, etc. All this we pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
