Christian churches across the world focus on celebrating two key events in the life of Jesus: Christmas (His miraculous birth) and Easter ( His death and resurrection).
As believers, we don’t have to limit our celebration to official church events. We can celebrate Jesus every single day! Here’s a short list to “ shout about”:
- He has risen! And He is alive! (Matthew 28:5-10)
- Jesus offers every person the opportunity to enjoy a personal relationship with Him as Lord and Savior. Everyone is invited to accept Jesus and experience eternal life in heaven! His offer includes our family members, friends, neighbors, bosses, community leaders, etc. (John 3:16)
- Jesus Christ died for our sins. When we confess our sins, He forgives us immediately. We don’t have to live in shame, fear and condemnation. (1 John 1:9; Romans 5: 6-8)
- Jesus is the light of the world; we don’t have to remain trapped in worldly darkness . We can reflect His light. ( John 8:12)
- Jesus still performs miracles today. (Hebrews 13:8)
- Jesus is the Good Shepherd – protecting and guiding us. ( John 10:11)
- Through Christ, we can experience victorious living; we have faith and strength to face life’s challenges. ( John 16:33)
- Jesus provides rest to all who are weary, tired, burdened and “burned out”. (Matthew 11:28)
- Jesus taught us how to pray. We have direct access to God – 24 hours every day! (Luke 11: 1-4)
