Bible Verse
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 NIV
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we come to you in the name of Jesus interceding for our precious children/young adults who are attending public schools, colleges and universities. We also pray fervently for all school administrators, teachers, professors, tutors, guidance counselors and anyone who is making decisions regarding the school curriculum (courses, assignments, school clubs/interest groups, etc.) We pray that they will seek, hear, understand and obey godly counsel. We pray that they will operate according to godly principles – doing what is good, right, just and fair in your sight. Give them the desire to seek your wisdom and implement wise policies and procedures.
Protect our children from being conformed to this world. Help them to remain focused on Jesus – our Lord, Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
